Dominique roots her advocacy in love, fellowship and optimism. At Sister Warriors, she focuses on empowering members and staff to engage in policy advocacy, particularly at the CA state level.
Dominique’s previous experiences include being the Director of Youth Justice Policy at the Children’s Defense Fund – California, a youth public defender in Baltimore City, Maryland, and a clinical fellow at Northwestern Law School. She was also an attorney at the Southern Poverty Law Center where she engaged in campaigns to end the transfer of youth to the adult criminal court system, abolish police in schools, and challenge youth prison conditions.
She was born and raised in the Inland Empire.
